Independent gain from Labour

A by-election was held for the Uplands division of the City and County of Swansea Council on 20 November 2014 following the resignation of Labour Cllr Pearleen Sangha, after it emerged that she had not attended a council meeting this year.

Peter May gained the seat as an Independent.
