Gibbonsdown by-election, 2016

Labour hold

A by-election was held for the Gibbonsdown division of Vale of Glamorgan Council on 3 November 2016 following the resignation of Labour Cllr Rob Curtis after being suspended for three months for bringing the council into disrepute after admitting guilt to a case of common assault in 2015 (link).

Julie Aviet held the seat for Labour.
