Labour hold

A by-election was held for the Bedwas, Trethomas and Machen division of Caerphilly Council on 3 September 2015 following the death of Labour Cllr Ray Davies. Davies had served as a councillor for the area since 1964.

Lisa Jones held the seat for Labour.
